Schöppinger Altarpiece Traditional Easter Card, Personalised or Blank

This colourful traditional Easter card depicts part of the Schöppinger Altarpiece.  It is a fifteenth century work of art portraying the Resurrection, the Ascension and Pentecost. In the middle of the painting Christ has emerged from his tomb. In the upper right Christ's followers peer up at him disappearing into Heaven, only his feet and lower legs can still be seen. To the left, the disciples witness the outpouring of the Holy Spirit which is portrayed symbolically as a dove.

The card can be ordered blank inside, or with a personalised greeting.
